What is a Park ?

There are 58 regional natural parks in France (56 in metropolitan France and two in the overseas territories). Territorial projects are developed around these Parks where heritage preservation is at the service of local development.

This is the case with the Ballons des Vosges Natural Regional Park : a key heritage preservation player, it is actively involved in medium-mountain economic dynamism by supporting local producers, transmitting craftsmanship and promoting the territory. It is also committed to quality urban planning, to welcoming visitors in a warm and helpful manner or again to raising public awareness on environment issues.
