Seven towns or conurbations in Lorraine, Alsace and Franche-Comté support the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park. Creative, European, durable and enterprising, the Mulhouse conurbation offers a great many attractive features to be discovered by train, tram or bicycle: the Pedestrian Historic Centre of Mulhouse (City of Arts and History), and European museums – prestigious witnesses of a strong industrial background and of the Alsatian identity with its Popular Arts and Traditions. With its parks, gardens and canals, the “Mulhouse Alsace Conurbation” also gives centre stage to nature’s colours, in particular in its Zoological and Botanical Park, first Tourist Site in the Haut-Rhin Region. This conurbation is particularly dynamic with many festivals, fairs, sports events, concerts and exhibitions. mulhouse-alsace.fr
