On the Park Territory, certain campsites are committed to an environmental approach and adhere to the Quality Charter. Campsite managers preserve the environment with amenities respectful of the landscape. This approach is recognized by the “Camping Qualité” Stamp and “Clef Verte” Label. The “Camping Qualité” Stamp When signing up to the “Camping Qualité” Charter, professionals agree to comply with strict and precise charter regulations, as well as regular controls based on more than 500 points of reference. Campsites labelled “Camping Qualité” undertake to provide:• a warm and helpful welcome • impeccable cleanliness • precise and accurate information • a well looked-after private pitch The “Clef Verte” Label The “Clef Verte” is the first tourist accommodation eco-label in France and internationally. The “Clef Verte” Label aims at implementing a constant and positive environmental approach to raise the environmental awareness of key players in the tourist field, as well as tourists themselves. The “Clef Verte” Label is awarded to tourism professionals who respect a great many criteria pertaining to the environment, and to the management of water resources, energy, waste and natural spaces. This award is recognized on a national and international level and guarantees visitors the ecological commitment of both the establishment and all its players. European Ecolabel and Tourism Created in 2003, the European Ecolabel for Tourist Accommodation Services now counts many adherents in France and in Europe. In addition, an increasing number of Campsites have been labelled European Ecolabel since 2005. With this European ecological label, tourist establishments guarantee: reduced energy and water consumptions, reduced waste production, the use of renewable energies and substances that are less toxic to the environment, communication with tourists on environmental issues. They meet strict criteria described in mission statements shared by every European Union country. The “Qualité Tourisme” Stamp The “QUALITE TOURISME™” Stamp is the only State label awarded to Tourism Professionals for the quality of their hospitality and services.
