The diverse landscapes of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park offer a perfect setting for a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, climbing, water sports, and winter sports. The Park actively encourages these activities, ensuring they are enjoyed responsibly and with respect for the fragile wildlife and ecosystems. Let’s embrace the Quietude Attitude!

If you’re eager to explore the breathtaking landscapes around you, there are many ways to do so: on foot, horseback, bicycle, skis, snowshoes, etc. However, no matter how you choose to experience these natural spaces, the same principle applies to everyone: respect. These environments, though highly sought-after and easily accessible, endure the combined pressures of a harsh climate and frequent visitors.

Summer activities:

Enjoy nature responsibly!

To help preserve wildlife and tranquillity, the Park has developed a nature sports programme in collaboration with local organisations. This programme promotes good practices for outdoor activities:

  • I check for quiet zones and follow regulations,
  • I stay on marked trails within quiet zones,
  • I respect the silence of nature,
  • I keep my dog on a lead,
  • I prioritise daytime activities.

Let’s all be responsibly wild!
